What does Clickable see on a page?

Updated

Only while a task runs: the page address and title, headings, button and field labels, and up to 1,500 characters of visible text.

Clickable reads a page only after you press Guide me, and on each page you reach while that task runs. It sends a short summary to pick the next step:

  • your goal, and your answers if Clicky asks a question;
  • the page address and title;
  • up to 15 headings;
  • the buttons, links and fields: the words on them, where they are, and whether a field is empty or filled, a box ticked or a menu option chosen;
  • up to 1,500 characters of the page’s visible text, including warnings.

It never sends what you type or your passwords. What Clickable never sends.
