How do I download my vida laboral (work history report) in Spain?

Get your informe de vida laboral from the Seguridad Social online: what you need, the ways to identify yourself and how to download the PDF.
Your informe de vida laboral lists every period you have been registered with the Spanish Social Security. You can download it for free from Import@ss, the Seguridad Social’s online service. You identify yourself with Cl@ve, a digital certificate, a DNIe or an SMS code and download a PDF, or, without any of those, have it posted to you.
What you need
- Your DNI or NIE
- A way to identify yourself: Cl@ve Permanente, Cl@ve Móvil, a DNIe, a digital certificate, or a code by SMS
- Without any of those: a selfie and a photo of your identity document, and the report is posted to your address
Steps
Open Import@ss
Go to portal.seg-social.gob.es, the Seguridad Social's Import@ss portal, and open Vida laboral e informes.
Open the vida laboral report
Choose Informe de tu vida laboral, then press Consultar vida laboral.
Identify yourself
Choose how to identify yourself: Tengo Cl@ve Permanente, Cl@ve Móvil, DNIe, Certificado Electrónico o Vía SMS, or Ninguno de los anteriores if you have none. You sign in yourself. With none of them, you fill in your details, take a selfie and add a photo of your ID, and the report is sent to the address the Seguridad Social has for you.
Choose the report
You can get your full work history or narrow it to the periods you search for.
Download and save the PDF
Download the report and save it somewhere you can find it again. It carries a code that others can use to check it is genuine.
